Final Four TeamCast Commentators

(Michigan is in the Final Four)

CBS Sports and Turner Sports announced the TeamCast commentator teams for the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship from San Antonio with Michigan, Loyola (IL), Villanova and Kansas competing for the National Championship.

TeamCast coverage will air on TNT and TruTV, alongside TBS’s traditional telecasts of the NCAA Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, March 31, and National Championship on Monday, April 2.

TeamCast presentations – team-specific telecasts tailored to the schools participating in the Final Four National Semifinals – return for the fourth time in the last five years. The inventive concept will continue to present the game with unprecedented local flavor including comprehensive team and player storylines, music, custom graphics and show packaging, additional cameras and team-centric replays, custom halftimes with school features and more.

Final Four TBS Studio Programming & Special Guests

(Loyola Chicago will be in the Final Four this Saturday)

CBS Sports and Turner Sports will provide exclusive coverage of the Final Four of the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship from San Antonio, Texas with Loyola (IL), Michigan, Villanova and Kansas competing for the National Championship.

TBS will televise the NCAA National Semifinals on Saturday, March 31, and National Championship on Monday, April 2, with corresponding TeamCasts or team-specific coverage airing on TNT and truTV. National Semifinal game coverage will begin Saturday, March 31, at 6 p.m. ET, with TBS featuring three hours of pre-game coverage beginning at 3 p.m.

St. John’s Leads Legends Classic Field

St. John’s, Temple, VCU, and California headline the field for the 2018 Legends Classic, which culminates with the Championship Rounds at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, November 19 and 20.

All four games of the Championship Rounds will be televised on ESPN networks.

St. John’s, Temple, VCU, and California will each host a pair of regional round games on campus in addition to facing off at Barclays Center in the Championship Rounds on Nov. 19-20. The four regional round hosts combine for 102 NCAA Tournament appearances and eight Final Fours.

Turner Unveils B/R Live; Streaming Service Will Include NBA & Champions League

Turner unveiled their new premium live sports streaming service, Bleacher Report Live, at their headquarters on Tuesday morning.

In what they see as the future of how people consume sports, B/R Live will serve as the central hub for both the discovery and consumption of live sport content. The streaming service will allow fans to find and watch their favorite sports content anywhere, anytime, and on the screen of their choice.

BWP Named MLS Player of the Week

Red Bulls Forward Bradley Wright-Phillips, who was deemed the “most underrated player in league history” by his coach, Jesse Marsch, got some recognition on Tuesday as he was voted the Alcatel MLS Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR).

Wright-Phillips earned the honor after scoring two goals in the Red Bulls 3-0 home win over Minnesota United FC on Saturday night. Marsch’s comments came after that incredible performance.

The Yankees unveiled new dining options and social gathering spaces at Yankee Stadium on Monday afternoon ahead of their home opener on Monday, April 2 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

New spots you should check out this season include the Blue Point Bleachers Bar located on the 200 Level in the left field bleachers, and a Rotisserie Chicken & Steak kiosk at section 105, right by the highly popular Judge’s Chambers in right field.

Marsch’s Moniker For BWP: “The most underrated player in league history”

The New York Red Bulls rolled to an impressive 3-0 win over Minnesota United FC on Saturday night at Red Bull Arena.

Bradley Wright-Phillips led the way with two goals, both showcases of his amazing talent.

The Red Bulls’ first goal came in the 15th minute when Wright-Phillips stepped back from deflecting a shot from Alex Muyl in the box that wound up going into the net to give the Red Bulls the early lead.

Boston Tie Party: NYCFC Earns Draw With New England

New York City Football Club came from behind late to earn a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution on the road in Foxborough on Saturday afternoon.

NYCFC got both of their goals from their budding star Ismael Tajouri-Shradi to remain unbeaten on the season (3 wins, 1 draw, 10 points).

NCAA Tournament: Duke Outlasts Syracuse

The Duke Blue Devils outlasted a spirited effort from the underdog Syracuse Orange, 69-65, on Friday night in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in Omaha.

Duke was led by Marvin Bagley III, who had 22 points on 8-12 from the field, with seven rebounds and an assist.

Grayson ALlen had 15 points and eight assists, while Gary Trent, Jr. and Wendell Carter, Jr. had 14 points apiece, and Carter had a double double as he also had 12 rebounds.

Yankees Give Fans More OF A Chance To See BP

The Yankees have announced that Yankee Stadium will open Gates 6 and 8, as well as the Suite Entrance, 3 hours prior to the scheduled start of every Friday night game, as well as all Saturday games scheduled to start at 4:05 p.m. or 7:15 p.m.

Prior to these games, the entire Field Level, Great Hall, Bleachers (including Pepsi Lounge), Legends Suites and Club, Champions Suites and Clubs, and Ford Field MVP Club will be accessible. All other Gates and the rest of the Stadium will open 1 ½ hours prior to first pitch.
