Nets Interim Head Coach P.J. Carlesimo talked about where the Nets stand at the All-Star Break before the Nets’ game against Denver on Wednesday. It has been an up-and-down season, and they are currently 31-22, fourth-best in the Eastern Conference.
The team opened the season with an 11-4 record in November, and beat the Knicks in their first meeting in Brooklyn on November 26th.
Brook Lopez went down to a foot injury soon after, which caused the team to go on a losing streak in December. They fell to .500 at 14-14, and Carlesimo replaced Avery Johnson as Head Coach on December 27th. Brooklyn responded, and have gone 17-8 with Carlesimo, with big wins over Oklahoma City, Chicago, and the Knicks.
