If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, featuring Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, has been commissioned as a YouTube Original series.
The series from Sundog Pictures, the award-winning premium factual indie, is based on the best-selling book by Richard Reed.
The commission was announced by YouTube’s Chief Business Officer, Robert Kyncl, at YouTube’s annual digital upfront, Brandcast, in New York, recently.
As described by Robert on stage, the show’s star Priyanka will go on a personal journey to meet the world’s most successful and inspirational people—each time asking them for advice they feel can change the world.
From actors and politicians to religious leaders and environmentalists, Priyanka will speak with the people who will go down in history as having challenged the status quo.
Actress, activist and producer Priyanka Chopra’s foray into the entertainment industry began at the age of 17 when she won Miss India and went on to win Miss World the following year, a title that catapulted her to international stardom. Priyanka has earned popular and critical acclaim as Alex Parrish on ABC’s hit drama Quantico, currently in its third season, for which she won two consecutive People’s Choice Awards.
In April 2016 she was featured on the cover of TIME magazine’s coveted TIME 100 issue, as one of the Most Influential People in the world. Recently making her Hollywood film debut in Baywatch (2017), she has two more films slated for release, including A Kid Like Jake which premieres on 1 June.
Priyanka also produces global TV and film content under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures. Several of her films have received critical acclaim; in 2017 her film Pahuna: The Little Visitors premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
With more than 82.5 million social media followers, Priyanka is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and has been a National Goodwill Ambassador to India for 11 years. She is also a United Nations Foundation Girl Up Champion, and is involved in a number of efforts to protect children’s rights and promote the education of girls in India, including her namesake charity The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education.
